Linda's Famous Whoopie Pies

Instructions

  1. Beat the cake mix, eggs and water until well combined.
  2. Place 2-tablespoon sized dollops 2 inches apart on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 400, 8-10 minutes, until puffed and passes clean toothpick test. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Beat the butter, fluff, sugar, cheese, vanilla and salt until smooth.
  5. Place 1 1/2 T dollops on flat side of half of the pies. Top with remaining pies and press gently to spread filling.
  6. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
  7. Plate and serve.
